Context
Uniper needed a reliable desktop for power purchase agreement valuation: model inputs, timeseries outputs, and visualisation for renewable deals. An earlier version had failed to meet the business requirements, so this engagement replaced it.
Approach
We led the full-stack build. An Angular and TypeScript front end sits on C# and ASP.NET Core, with SignalR for live updates and Azure Cosmos DB for the model documents. The work concentrated on input handling, timeseries analysis, and the critical paths that had made the previous product unusable.
Outcome
The valuation workspace met the requirements for PPA model inputs and timeseries review. On the critical paths, key areas ran about ten times faster than before.
