Context
TTTF Payroll is a live, multi-tenant payroll platform for Nigerian employers. It calculates PAYE and the statutory deductions, and it produces payslips and compliance reports. We are the sole architect and developer, owning the architecture, the development, the AWS infrastructure, releases, and client support.
Approach
The API is event-sourced .NET on the Critter Stack, with Wolverine and Marten on PostgreSQL. Nigerian statutory rules cover PAYE, pension, NHF, NHIS, NSITF, and ITF. The Next.js web app includes an employee self-service portal. Personal data is handled for GDPR and the Nigeria Data Protection Act, with field-level encryption, audit logging, and data retention. Deployments run on AWS, using EKS, RDS, and KMS, defined in Terraform. AI-assisted development is part of that delivery. It shortens the work, and an engineer remains accountable for what ships.
Outcome
Employers run payroll on the live system: tax and statutory deductions are calculated, payslips and compliance reports are produced, and employees use the self-service portal. Infrastructure, releases, and support stay with the same owner.
