Context

The club needed GPS data from training sessions in its analytics in near real time.

Approach

We built event-driven ingestion on Azure, with Event Hubs, Functions, Redis and SQL Server. The work included session data loaders, monitoring and root-cause analysis, and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Outcome

Live tests scaled to more than 20 players, with distance figures within about 2% of the GPS vendor’s own system.
